The "Narc" Box is designed to keep narcotics on Fire Engines, Police Vehicles and other Public Safety vehicles secure and safe. The box is constructed completely of 12 gauge 304-2B Stainless Steel with a Stainless Steel hinge. The box is equipped with the Digilock security lock with keypad. This lock can hold many users and their passwords for complete confidence and includes a software recovery program for your laptop or PC. The 9-Volt Jumper is optional.

Harbor's New Animal Control Body

This is an animal control body by Harbor Truck Bodies. It is essentially a highly modified service body with various size compartments for different size animals, plenty of ventilation and temperature control, which is especially important in the heat of the sun during most of the year in Southern California where this unit is in use by the City of Fontana.

As you can see by the photographs, it has special doors, expanded metal and solid metal partitions, vented panels, through compartments for larger animals, interior lighting, special coolers and exhaust ventilators, strobe lights, all LED exterior lighting, and this also has a Tommy Gate 1,000 lb liftgate.

North Bay Custom Flatbed On 2004 Freightliner

Here's a custom 10' flatbed built and mounted on a 2004 Freightliner regular cab with an 84" CA recently built by North Bay Truck Body, Fairfield CA.

It starts as a standard 10' flatbed with apitong hardwood floor and a 1/8" diamond plate steel overlay. To that North Bay has added six removable 8" stake rack sections using 1/4"x8" steel flatbar, 2 underbed 56" long boxes, one on each side. An LED Wanco 36"x72" power 90 degree arrow board has been added and North Bay installed the customers Scorpion crash attenuator.

A Beautiful Red Service Body with Dump Insert and Special Options

This truck is a beauty! It is an 8' Harbor Truck Bodies standard height Service Body with flat stainless steel lids capped with aluminum treadplate including capped on the ends. Inside the bed of this body is mounted a North Bay Truck Body fabricated dump liner with a Rugby hoist. This body also includes a custom cab protector, class IV receiver, stainless steel vise bracket, and a North Bay Truck Body custom forklift loadable rack with an expanded metal shield and cab screen at the front of the rack for carrying wheelbarrows, and the rack also includes one set of Rack Straps. The body was painted in a base coat/clear coat finish to match the cab as closely as possible.

11' Rugby Steel Dump On 2011 GMC 3500HD

This is an 11' Rugby 3/4-yard Steel Dump Body mounted on a 2011 GMC 84" CA chassis. The body is lifted by a Rugby HR540 hoist. The job also includes a back-up alarm, receiver hitch and 7-pin plug, tailgate to hitch protector brackets.

9' Custom Flatbed by North Bay Truck Body

Here's a North Bay Truck Body 9' Flatbed mounted on a 60" CA chassis. It has a tapered half and half headboard with a 1-1/8" Apitong hardwood floor, with 12" centers on the cross bars. The six stake rack sections are 12" high with two boards. The rack is a custom design with no longitudinals and the goals posts are made of 3"x2" metal and the rear is mounted off the rear of the flatbed to the step on the rear.

Customized 11' Service/Welder Body by North Bay Truck Body

Here's a recent job by North Bay Truck Body for Zumwalt Ford in St. Helena, CA. It is a Harbor Truck Bodies 11' Service Body with dual raised front compartments. Compartment depth on this model is 22" deep. This is also commonly called a Welder Body and in this case it is being used that way for the curbside front compartment is to hold Oxygen/Acetylene bottles. This body also features Harbor's famous standard stainless steel open top lids.

This body also features a unique 18" rear platform with 3/16" diamond plate steel floor and 2" V-trough, a receiver style vise bracket stand, 2"x2" HD NBTB Rack with two sets of Rack Straps. Further modifications to the 18" rear platform is 4-4" vertical channels with 5" bumper step with recessed rubber mounted stop, tail, turn and backup lights in the rear face. And finally, a receiver hitch and 6-way plug.

Custom Flatbed Dump By North Bay Truck Body



Here's a unit recently built by North Bay Truck Body that certainly looks interesting with the unusual rack assembly. Sort of looks like window panes going down the road. . . and it is also a dumping flatbed!

This is a HD flatbed with 3/16" HD formed steel sides and end rails with crossbars on 12" centers with additional cross member over rear wheel area with steel reinforcement. Headboard is 41" smooth steel and expanded metal with structural support as a rack with 6" ears to match rear goal post. The other two goal posts are made of 3"x2" steel.

This is also a dump body and has a Rugby HR520EDM class 20 hoist. There are seven combo binders, four on curbside with HD 3/4" rope hooks opposite, and three on roadside. Floor is 1-1/8" sub-floor with 10 gauge smooth steel overlay. A 48" underbed box rounds out the job.

North Bay Truck Body Fabricates A Litter Cart Holder. Just A Day In The Life. . .

Here's some of the more unusual work we get to do. This is a "litter" cart holder that North Bay Truck Body fabricated for Travis Air Force Base. It is designed to hold 4 litters and is loaded in a box van and then to planes and sent all over the world.



Very Nice Red Brush Truck For Suisun Fire Protection District

Here's a great red truck for Suisun Fire Protection District built by Bob Dias and team at North Bay Truck Body in Fairfield CA. This is a 2011 Ford F-550 Regular Cab 4x4 Super Duty 60" CA chassis with a diesel motor.

The body is a ProTech 9' all aluminum flatbed with recessed LED clearance, stop, tail, turn and back-up lights. It includes a hitch and 10"x10" opening in the bed floor for later heavy trailer hitch. It also has two 36" underbed boxes, four topside 54" boxes, all diamond plate aluminum, special ProTech aluminum crossbox.

Custom 12' Flatbed Looks More Like A Service Body!

Here's a very interesting truck recently built by North Bay Truck Bodies in Fairfield CA. It has enough tool boxes to be a service or utility body, but is in reality a flatbed--indeed, a very useful flatbed.

This is a 12' x 8' flatbed with 60" underbed tool box mounted in front of the rear axle and 36" boxes in the rear. On the side with the welder compartment, a 24" box is substituted for the 60". The two topside boxes are closed-top and are approximately 88" x 24" high and 18" deep. There is space in front of the upper box for a welder, and there are two 50-gallon square liquid transfer tanks, one per side with top opening boxes mounted after. Each tank has a 12-volt Fillrite pump with auto shut-off nozzle and filter system.

The rack system has removable sections. The rear step bumper is 4" channel with a class IV receiver hitch. Notice how all the rope hooks have been set and the channel they are mounted in. Looks very clean and useful at the same time.

The oxygen/acetylene locker on the curbside front is cut into the bed. The locker is 63" high x 19" deep and is 32" wide with double doors and bottle bracket system and also includes a reinforced floor. Note that the bottom of the locker is level with adjoining tool box. All of this mounted on a Ford F-550 regular cab chassis.

Interlift Liftgate and E-Track For Sprinter Van

Here's a small liftgate job recently done by North Bay Truck Body. This is a 2010 Pronter 2500 Series with the hi-roof and we installed an Interlift model Mini Fix Liftgate with 1,100 lbs capacity and a large aluminum extruded platform size of 62" x 55". We also added two rows of E-Track on each side inside the van.
